Centex Crime Stoppers – Crime of the Week 7/28/2021

This week Centex Crime Stoppers would like to provide a few tips that could help reduce the chances of you becoming a victim of mail/package theft.  If possible consider having packages delivered somewhere else. For instance, your place of employment (if permitted), a secure UPS/Fed-EX location, or look into getting a PO. BOX for package delivery. Subscribing to delivery alerts are a good way to keep track of packages, and when they are delivered. Also, you could request that package delivery require a signature.  As always remember that many crimes occur as a result of opportunity, and if we eliminate the opportunity that can reduce the chances of you becoming a victim.

If you have any information about any local crime, call Centex Crime Stoppers 24 hours a day at 1-254-865-8477 (TIPS). You never have to give your name, and if your information leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a reward.
